Description
The ‘Hall’ Stockless anchor is one of the most commonly used anchors in modern maritime applications due to their versatility and reliability.
Design: Stockless anchors are designed to be easy to handle and stow on ships. They have hinged flukes that can pivot to set firmly into the seabed, providing reliable holding power. The pivoting function also serves to reduce wear on attachment hardware.
Self-setting and suitable for a wide range of seabed conditions including mud, sand and rocky bottoms, they are an excellent choice for Marine, Construction, Fishing, and Oil industry applications.
Material: Made of high strength, galvanized steel to withstand the stresses and forces encountered during anchoring.
Weight and Size: These anchors come in various sizes and weights to accommodate different vessel types & sizes. The size of the anchor is typically chosen based on the size and displacement of the vessel.
Maintenance: Regular maintenance including thorough inspection for any signs of wear, damage or corrosion is necessary to ensure the safety and efficiency of your anchor.
If in doubt: Get in touch and our expert team will assist you in selecting the correct anchor for your needs.
